Our approach
WishDock is built to help people create and share wishlists. We do not sell personal information, serve behavioral advertising, or track people across other companies' apps and websites.
Information we process
When you use WishDock, we may process your Sign in with Apple identifier, name, email address and optional profile photo; wishlists, product links, notes, preferences, family memberships, friend connections, gift profiles and gift activity; notification preferences and push-notification device tokens; and technical request information such as IP address, device type and service logs. Contact names and phone numbers used to prepare a message stay on your device and are not uploaded to WishDock.
How information is used
We use this information to authenticate your account, sync lists across devices, import product details, send the invitations you request, provide friend, family and list-sharing features, track product price or availability when enabled, deliver requested reminders, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures and keep WishDock secure.
Service providers
WishDock relies on Apple for sign-in and notifications, Supabase for authentication and application data, Cloudflare for public wishlist pages, and product-information providers such as Canopy API when you import or track a supported retail product. These providers process information only to deliver their services under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Sharing and invitations
Lists are private unless you choose another visibility. Family lists are available to members of that family. “Selected People” lists are available only to people you approve. Your optional profile photo may be shown to people who can see you through family, friendship or list-sharing features. Private list invitations use a one-time bearer link sent through Messages; the first signed-in account that accepts the link receives the invited role. A list set to “Anyone with Link” can be viewed by anyone who receives its public viewing link. Public pages and list owners never see who reserved or purchased an item.
Retention and deletion
Account information, synchronized content and optional profile photos are retained while your account is active or as needed to provide WishDock. You can replace your profile photo, export your lists, sign out of every device, or permanently delete your account, owned content and uploads from Profile → Account Safety. Limited security logs and backups may remain temporarily where required for reliability, fraud prevention or legal compliance.
Your choices
You control your profile photo, list visibility, friendships, invitations, product tracking and notifications. WishDock explains and requests optional Contacts, Notifications, Camera and Calendar permissions during first-run setup; you can continue without granting them. On supported iOS versions you can grant access to selected contacts or your full contact list; names and phone numbers are read only on your device to address the Messages composer. Camera data is used only to scan a product. Calendar access is used only to add occasions you choose. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.
Children
WishDock is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission, please contact WishDock support.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as WishDock changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version. For privacy questions or requests, visit the WishDock Support page or email support@jayprinter.xyz.
